School welcomes visiting scholar
The School of Management welcomes Dr Grégory Jemine as a visiting scholar in the School for six months until summer 2022.
Dr Jemine is from the Management School of the University of Liège (HEC Liège). His research interests include processes of digital transformation, the diffusion of technological innovations and social dialogue in the workplace. He also has a keen interest in the topic of employment relations.
At the School of Management, Dr Jemine is working with Dr François-Régis Puyou on a paper that investigates the diffusion dynamics of accounting innovations among small accounting firms. The project is associated with the School's Accounting, Governance and Organisations research thematic group.
Dr Jemine obtained his PhD from the University of Liège, Belgium, with a dissertation entitled 'Organizing strategic decision: Decisional work in new ways of working projects'. As part of his postdoctoral research, he studied the implications of project work on individual and organisational careers. He was also a visiting scholar at the University of Twente, Netherlands, and his research has been published in Information Technology & People, the Journal of Change Management, and Qualitative Research in Organizations and Management. His teaching has included courses on social dialogue, skills management and new ways of working.
