Top in Scotland; best in UK

In September 2020, in the Guardian University Guide 2021, the School of Management retained its place as top in Scotland and second in the UK for full-time undergraduate courses in business, management and marketing. In the Guardian list, the University of St Andrews holds the same rankings of top in Scotland and second to Oxford in the UK, by virtue of its high scores for student satisfaction and experience, graduate employment and the quality of its academic programmes.

In the Complete University Guide 2021, the School was named best for business and management studies in the UK. This is the fifth year in a row that the School has achieved the top spot. In the same table, published summer 2020, the University of St Andrews is the top university in Scotland.

The School of Management is also best in the UK in the Times/Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020.

The National Student Survey (NSS), published in July 2020, named the St Andrews the UK's top mainstream university for student experience, the twelfth time in the past 14 years that the university has been at the very top of the comprehensive analysis.
