Use a University printer
Staff and students can access printers in over 60 locations. University printers work on a pull print system, allowing you to collect your documents from any connected printer using your ID card.
Read the instructions available beside each printer if you're not sure how to print, copy and scan.

- Send your document to the UniPrint queue. If you haven't set up UniPrint on your computer, do this first.
- Go to your nearest University printer, you'll find them in over 60 locations. You have 24 hours to pick up your document from the printer.
- Log in by tapping your card against the card reader or click the Sign In button to enter your username and password manually.
- Select Print Release from the on-screen menu.
- Highlight the document you want to print. Tap the '>' button to adjust print settings or print additional copies, then Print.
- Collect your document and tap Sign out.

University printers can be found in the following locations. Some printers allow for A3 printing, colour printing, stapling and scanning documents to USB.

If you're a student, you can top up your printing account online or use the machine in the Main Library. If you're a staff member, your professional service unit or School will pay for your printing.

You can top up online. If you're about to graduate and still have money in your account, you can transfer this to another student.
- Login to the online portal using your St Andrews username and password.
- Click on Top up from the home screen.
- Enter the amount you want to top up.
- Enter your payment method details.
- Click Submit.
