Request podcast distribution for Spotify and Apple Podcasts

The University offers a centralised podcast distribution service for staff who want to publish their shows on major platforms, such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts. We currently manage several University podcast shows and can support you in getting your audio and video podcast content out to a wider audience.
How to request support
To request podcast distribution, please log a support call with the IT Service Desk.
You can also email your request and all required information to itservicedesk@st-andrews.ac.uk.
What you need to provide
When submitting your request, please include the following details depending on whether you are launching a new show or uploading new episodes to an existing one.
Launching a new podcast show
If you are starting a new podcast, we will need the following details to set up your show profile:
- show name
- show description: a brief overview of the podcast of no more than 600 characters
- cover artwork: you can provide your own cover art or provide a descriptive brief so our team can create the artwork for you
Uploading new episodes
For each new episode you wish to publish, please provide:
- episode file: a OneDrive link to the completed audio or video file, fully edited and ready for distribution
- episode title
- episode description
- publication date: let us know if the episode should be published immediately or scheduled for a specific date and time in the future
Uploading multiple episodes
If you are submitting a number of new episodes at once, please clearly specify the release order and dates for each episode so we can schedule them correctly.
