Sampling Arctic saltmarsh in northern Norway

Dr Alex Houston and Prof William Austin are in northern Norway sampling Arctic saltmarsh for a Horizon Europe project to understand the vulnerability of these coastal habitats to amplified regional climate warming. They spotted this site on their way to Nordkapp, and have added mainland Europe's northern most saltmarsh site to a pan-European study of greenhouse gas fluxes.
