Postdoctoral success for doctoral graduate Jinuo Diao

Jinuo Diao, who worked on a thesis about the contemporary Chinese film industries and successfully passed her viva in December 2019, has started a two year long Postdoctoral Fellowship at the School of Journalism and Communication at Tsinghua University in Beijing, currently ranked as China's top academic institution.

She is working with Professor Yin Wong on a state-sponsored project exploring film-induced tourism, as well as scrutinizing various phenomena at the intersection of cultural tourism and the film industry.
