Film Studies student joins REAL at Locarno Film Festival

3rd Year Film Studies student, Cecilia Ryan, was selected to be a participant of the 2026 edition of REAL: Reality Exploration Academy of Locarno, a collaboration between Locarno Film Festival and USI Università della Svizzera Italiana.

Over ten days, this international programme brings together emerging scholars, filmmakers, and researchers to join a collective intellectual inquiry into how we see, question, and construct the real. The programme combines critical theory and hands-on making, with participants engaging in rigorous seminars and producing original video essays.
