PhD candidate Hal Young helps launch Leith Kino

PhD candidate in Film Hal Young is working with twelve members of the Leith Kino collective to launch a new, weekly community screening programme in Leith. The opening film will be Matsumoto Toshio's Funeral Parade of Roses. Free tickets are also available for those who are currently not in a position to pay (contact via Leith Kino). Future screenings will include introductions by other PGRs in the department, with Hal introducing a November screening of films by Ito Takaashi and Sogo Ishii, related to his doctoral research.
