Professor Laura Mulvey awarded BFI Fellowship

Honorary Professor in the Department of Film Studies, Laura Mulvey, will receive a BFI Fellowship award in recognition of her outstanding contributions as a filmmaker, author, theorist and academic. She will receive the award in November, alongside an ‘in conversation’ event and an accompanying season at the Southbank 'Laura Mulvey: Thinking Through Film', with screenings available on the BFI Player. The BFI Fellowship is the highest honour bestowed by the BFI, and this is the first time it has been given to an academic.
