Stirring Queer and Trans Memory: Counterarchives and Peripheries

The final conference of Prof Glyn Davis' Perverse Collections project was held in Valencia, Spain, 21-23 May 2025. Attended by over 100 people, the conference (Revolver la memoria queer y trans: Contrarchivos y periferias) was organised by Prof Juan Antonio Suárez and Dr Alberto Berzosa.

The event launched with a tour of the community-run El punt, a counterarchive dedicated to collecting materials related to feminist, LGBTQ+ and working-class political struggle. The following two days - hosted by Centre Cultural La Nau - included performances, presentations, and film screenings.
