Film student publication success

Current MLitt student Georgina Beeby has published an article in the journal Film Matters:'Examining the Function of Pretrauma Cinema, WALL-E and the Warning for Our Future'.

The essay was originally written for the St Andrews Film Studies module Film Genres and it was nominated for the Anita Loos Award for the most outstanding undergraduate essay in Film Studies in 2019/20. Georgina graduated with a MA Hons in Film Studies in 2021 and is currently completing her MLitt in Film Studies at St Andrews.
