Saltire Poetry Short List

Collections by two members of staff in the School of English have been shortlisted for the Saltire Scottish Poetry Book of the Year. 

40 Sonnets (Faber & Faber) by Professor Don Paterson and Gu Leòr / Galore (Acair) by Dr Peter Mackay are among six books in contention for the prize, which will be announced in Edinburgh on 24 November.

A former Professor from the School, Kathleen Jamie, is also in the running for The Bonniest Companie (Picador). Read more about the shortlist at The Bookseller.
