28 May 2019

Matthew Caley, who has just completed an eighteen month stint at the School of English as an Associate Lecturer in Contemporary Poetry and Creative Writing will publish his six collection Trawlerman’s Turquoise (Bloodaxe Books, September 2019) and was pleased to receive a Society of Authors Award during its writing. The book will have the first of its many launches at The King's Lynn Poetry Festival in September and The Aldeburgh Festival in November.

In addition, an image and textual essay – Explosions - the 21st Century Logo flags, explosions and branding - a provisional, non-chronological exploration in 20 fragments – will be published later this year in Semiotics and Visual Communication 111: Cultures of Branding (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2019). This is a version of a key note talk given at the 3rd International Conference and Exhibition on Semiotics and Visual Communication held at The University of Technology, in Lemesos, Cyprus in 2017.
