Poetry win for School of English PhD Student

School of English PhD student, Zainab Imran, has been announced as a winner of the prestigious 2026 Edwin Morgan Poetry Prize along with Tom Bailey. They will share the £20,000 prize, which "recognises their exceptional promise and provides financial support towards the development of a poetry collection."

Zainab is currently working at the University of St Andrews on her PhD with supervisor, Anne Boyer, following an MLitt in Creative Writing at the university.
