Dina Nayeri's A Happy Death snapped up at auction

Algonquin Books has acquired Dina Nayeri's new novel, A Happy Death. Award-winning author, and St Andrews Creative Writing Reader, Dina Nayeri has signed a deal on her upcoming novel A Happy Death, scheduled for release in early 2027.

The novel "follows a messy, horny, middle-aged woman who flees New York City for Edinburgh, and depicts the tender and often hilarious humiliations of desire, aging, and the need for purpose and community" - all delivered with Nayeri's signature wit and insight.
The deal was secured at auction, signalling strong anticipation for Nayeri's next literary offering.
