The School provides you with a primary and secondary supervisor. Working closely with two supervisors provides you with a greater range of research expertise than would be possible through sole supervision. It also means there is no disruption to the support available in case of staff leave.
You can expect to form a close working relationship with your supervisors, meeting regularly throughout your time in the School (especially through the opening stages of your research). Supervisors are responsible for overseeing both your research and your broader career development.
