If you graduated from our Department/School within the last 30 years, you will have used the same petrographic microscopes as our students do today! Each of our 50 ageing microscopes gets over 300 hours of use per year. This continual wear and tear has taken its toll and we now desperately need to replace ALL of our microscopes…and we need your help.
