Research Fellow in Hebrew Bible and Ancient Judaism
Biography
As a Research Fellow in Hebrew Bible and Ancient Judaism, Ethan Knudson teaches biblical language modules for the School of Divinity and contributes to the ongoing research project Texture: Historical Poetics of Ancient Jewish Literature (https://texturepoetics.com).
Ethan holds a PhD in Biblical Studies from the University of St Andrews. Prior to this, he completed an MLitt in Biblical Languages and Literature and a BA with majors in Biblical Studies, Classical Hebrew, and Koine Greek. His research is expanding, but centres on the form and function of allusions in the Hebrew Bible, especially the book of Daniel.
