Biography
Dr Danielle Jansen holds a PhD in Systematic Theology from the School of Divinity at The University of St Andrews. Having worked as a postdoctoral fellow on a Templeton cross-training fellowship at the University of Birmingham, she is currently working on a planning grant on "Godless Religion," also funded by the Templeton Foundation. This focuses on theologically engaging the growing demographic of conservative American Protestants leaving the churches — also known as the "Dones." She teaches Christian Ethics and Theology at St Mary's College. Her research includes Christian doctrine, especially the atonement, divine wrath, and the intersection of theology and social science.
