Dr Madhavi Nevader

22 January 2017

Warm congratulations to Dr Madhavi Nevader, teaching fellow in Hebrew Bible, on being appointed to a permanent lectureship in Hebrew Bible here at St Mary's College.

Dr Nevader completed her PhD on Kingship in the Books of Deuteronomy and Ezekiel at Oxford, and held positions at Oxford and Glasgow before joining the University of St Andrews, initially to provide teaching for Professor Kristin De Troyer, and now as a lecturer.

Dr Nevader brings with her strong expertise in Ancient Near Eastern languages, literature and archaeology, is a delightful colleague and much-loved teacher, and also plays the cello with several orchestras. The School is very happy to have her as part of their permanent faculty.
