Congratulations to Rev Dr Madison N. Pierce

St Mary’s is happy to announce that Rev Dr Madison N. Pierce has been confirmed as permanent faculty. As Lecturer in New Testament and Early Christianity, Dr Pierce brings a wealth of research and teaching experience to the school. 

Dr Pierce's research centres on the book of Hebrews and early Christian reception history, with a recent emphasis on messiah language. She is ordained in the Reformed Church in America as a Minister of Word and Sacrament. She is also a New Testament Editor at Reviews of Biblical and Early Christian Studies and a co-host of The Two Cities podcast. 

Since August, Dr Pierce has led research seminars and lectured for several modules in St Mary's, including Bible through the Ages, Greek Readings, and NT Special Topic: Paul and Paganism. We are delighted to have her continue in her role—many congratulations to Dr Pierce!
