Governance, accountability, markets and ethics (GAME)
Organisations and economies impact people and the planet by distributing power, resources, opportunities and risks.
We are fascinated by the systems, markets, and institutions that underpin this distribution, and we research how, why, and by what ethical principles it should be governed.
Our interdisciplinary research draws on perspectives from philosophy to social and environmental accounting. We explore how organisations can be environmentally sustainable and held accountable for their impact on the public good, consumers, citizens, workers, and ecosystems.

Sustainable development goals
Research in GAME examines the principles by which systems, markets, and institutions distribute power and resources across the planet. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals goals provide a shared blueprint for countries, organizations, and individuals to create a more sustainable and equitable world.
Our research advances these goals in the priority areas illustrated below.
