Professor Carole Elliott
Carole joined the School in October 2024, and has previously held positions at the universities of Lancaster, Hull, Durham, Roehampton, and Sheffield. She is Professor of Leadership Development, Visiting Professor at Copenhagen Business School, and Visiting Senior Research Fellow at Rennes School of Business. In 2022 Carole was elected as a Fellow of the British Academy of Management, and she is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Departmental Director of Teaching
Dr Mahmoud Abdel Khalik
Mahmoud Abdel Khalik joined the University of St Andrews in 2014. His research focuses on internationalisation, entrepreneurship and corruption in emerging markets, and he has been recognised for his contributions to teaching and mentorship with multiple award nominations.

Departmental Director of Research
Professor Philip Roscoe
Philip joined the University of St Andrews in 2009 as Lecturer in Management, was promoted to Reader in 2013, and Professor in 2023. Philip is currently Director of Research for Management, and has served as Director of Postgraduate Research and Director of Teaching.

Departmental Director of Impact and Innovation
Dr Cinla Akinci
Cinla is a Senior Lecturer in Management at the University of St Andrews Business School, with prior experience at the University of Surrey. Her research explores intuition's role in decision making and organisational learning, often involving fieldwork within UK police organisations. Cinla's expertise extends to mixed-method research and her work has been published in leading journals. Prior to academia, she worked in business development and project management.

Dr Giulia Giunti
Giulia Giunti joined the University of St Andrews as an Associate Lecturer in 2019. Prior to that she earned a PhD at the University of Birmingham (UK) with 'no corrections', where she also completed a Masters degree. She holds a BSc and an MSc from the University of Pisa (Italy).
