Dr George Kladakis
Lecturer in Finance
Biography
George joined the University of St Andrews Business School as a Lecturer in Finance in April 2024. He previously held a lecturer position at Edinburgh Napier University.
His main research interests include banking as well as sociopolitical factors such as press freedom, political uncertainty or societal trust. George has published his research in respected journals such as the Journal of International Money and Finance and the Journal of Business Finance and Accounting.
George is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). His teaching revolves around banking, investments and statistics.
He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Sheffield, a Msc in Finance and Investments from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and a BA in Business Studies (Accounting & Finance) from the University of Sheffield.
