The University offers excellent musical facilities and a wide range of opportunities for students and non-students alike.
The Music Centre is open to everyone, from absolute beginners to experienced musicians, whether you want to take lessons, play in groups, practise or just come and listen. In addition, the University offers nine undergraduate modules for those who wish to make music part of their degree.

Opera in Video. The University of St Andrews now subscribes to Opera in Video from Alexander Street Press. This resource contains five hundred hours of the most important opera performances, captured on video through staged productions, interviews, and documentaries. Selections represent the world’s best performers, conductors, and opera houses and are based on a work’s importance to the operatic canon.
