Jonathan Markham awarded best student paper prize at SID
1st May 2003
Jonathan Markham a PhD student in the polymer optoelectronics group has been awarded the prize for best student paper at the high profile Society for Information Displays (SID) conference last year. The paper entitled "Highly efficient dendrimer LEDs" described Jonathan's work making LEDs from a novel dendritic organic semiconductor. There conference attended by over thousand delegates presented just three awards. Jonathan and Ifor will be attending this years SID conference in Baltimore to collect the award. The work is sponsored by Cambridge Display Technologies who are commercialising displays made from organic semiconductors.
