Module description
This module introduces students to fundamental financial accounting concepts and the preparation, interpretation and use of core financial statements. The module will consider the concepts and measurement assumptions that underpin the preparation of financial accounting information and the core accounting statements: the Statement of Financial Position, the Income Statement, and the Cash Flow Statement. The module will also consider how this information is used by shareholders, analysts and other stakeholders, as well as the limitations of this information.
