Module description

This module will examine the development of printmaking, collecting and exhibiting in Britain, with a key focus on Scotland. It will explore the development of prominent artists and groups of the etching tradition through this period, known as the Etching Revival (1830-1930). A key area of study will be the rise of printmaking journals, the culture of collecting and the development of printmaking exhibitions.
