Module description
This module aims to extend students' ability in the core reading and writing skills required for success in an academic context. Topics, texts and tasks, as in the semester 1 module IE0102 Research and Writing for Business 1, will be closely related to aspects of Business in order to ensure that the continued development of students' language and skills is set within the context of the academic disciplines that they are most likely to go on to study at undergraduate level. In addition, students will be introduced to the nature of academic research skills to develop their ability to engage more effectively with academic research both receptively and productively.
