Module description
This module provides an opportunity for PGCAP participants to draw on the knowledge and skills gained in all previous modules and apply them to address a self-defined goal, problem, or project in relation to their teaching. Participants will work with the module leader to identify the scope of their Capstone Project. This could be (but is not limited to) designing a new module, redesigning a Moodle course to improve accessibility and inclusion, developing a workshop for colleagues, etc.

BEFORE TAKING THIS MODULE YOU MUST PASS ID5106 AND PASS ID5107 AND PASS 1 MODULE FROM {ID5108, ID5109}
Assessment pattern
100% coursework. Participants must pass all of the summative assessments in order to pass the module.

Weekly contact
One 2-hour seminar every 2nd week (6 in total), one 0.5-hour catch-up with module leader every 2nd week (5 in total)

- Apply knowledge and skills gained in previous PGCAP modules and scholarship to identify a relevant teaching problem or challenge to address
- Design an appropriate project to address that challenge, drawing on disciplinary knowledge and expertise
- Deliver and evaluate a teaching/pedagogical project output
- Complete the pedagogical enquiry cycle through reflection and evaluation to inform future practice
- Communicate ideas clearly and concisely
