Module description

This module provides the opportunity for students to carry out a sustained piece of work on a topic essentially of their own choice, with supervision by a member of staff. The dissertation may relate to any aspect of Greek life or literature, provided that the study of Greek texts is involved. The topic must be approved by the Dissertations Co-ordinator.

40 CREDITS FROM GK2001, GK2002, GK2003, GK2004, INCLUDING ONE PASS AT 11 OR BETTER, OR A PASS IN GK3022, OR EVIDENCE OF EQUIVALENT LINGUISTIC ACHIEVEMENT.

  • Discuss theoretical and methodological approaches relevant to their field of studies
  • Produce academic work according to the standards set by the School of Classics, both in terms of content and presentation, as set out in the UG handbook
