Microsoft Excel : Creating and using formulae

Course information

This course is aimed at those with no experience in Excel or those without  formal training and introduces the basic essential features for the efficient entering and managing of data.

Skills covered include:

  • Using the excel interface (worksheets and workbooks)
  • Understanding data types
  • Entering and editing data (copy/paste)
  • Worksheet and data formatting
  • Using a data series
  • Sorting and filtering data
  • Using Excel tables for basic analysis
  • Printing and layout
