Course information
Artificial intelligence has arrived in our classrooms, whether we invited it or not. This hands-on workshop delivers on the promise of its title: cutting through sensational claims to reveal what AI actually does, why its limitations matter as much as its capabilities, and how we can harness both to strengthen education. Together, we will see how AI tools really work in plain language. Using concrete examples from language teaching, essay writing, and research skills, you will see first hand how students are already using these tools and discover practical strategies for responding constructively. No technical expertise is required.
