PGT Writing: Planning writing

Course information

The workshops will be open to all PGT students and aim at increasing students’ confidence in approaches to writing, in order to increase both their capability in written assessments and transferable skills to support their next career stage (whether continuing to PGR study or entering into employment).

In the workshops we will not proof-read, edit, or discuss any assessed work that is not yet submitted 

Aims and objectives

By the end of the workshop you should be able to: 

1. Understand the different stages of writing

2. Gain confidence in the balance of research and writing

3. Understand writing is a process

4. Gain confidence in generative writing
