Laurence Johnson was an ensign in Sergeant-Major Andrew Caddel's [SSNE 8008] company in the Scots-Dutch Brigade. He was taken captive, along with Caddel, Lieutenant Hamilton [SSNE 8191], and Caddel's sergeant, at Callo in 1638.
