Text sourceWilliam Kinnaird was a Gothenburg-based Scot. He married Elisabeth Clarck [SSNE 6246], the daughter of another Scottish Gothenburg merchant, at Christina church on 9 December 1690. Although they had several children between 1694 and 1703, they also buried many of their children between those years. William himself appeared as a godparent at three different baptisms at Christina church between 1691 and 1701. He was probably related to Alexander Kinnaird [SSNE 2824] and David Kinnaird [SSNE 6124].
