Henry Tait was a student in Uppsala, Sweden in 1643. The year before, two men, Johan [SSNE 99] and Petrus [SSNE 157] Teet had also matriculated. It is possible that Henry was the father of the other two and in some sources he is said to have been ennobled in 1658. He was also probably the father of Eric Teet [SSNE 460] who went on to become governor of Medelpad. The Sclaimed Scottish provenance of the family is debatable.
