Andrew Monro was an ensign in Danish-Norwegian army. He served in Colonel Donald Mackay's [SSNE 93] regiment in 1628, and along with the rest of the regiment, received his reckoning by 4/10/1628.T. Riis, Should Auld Acquaintance Be Forgot (Odense, 1988), II, p.119.
