Alexander Gordon was the younger brother of Thomas Gordon, captain of 'Marr Maid' of Aberdeen (he later became a Russian admiral). In 1691 Alexander came to Moscow to stay with Patrick and later became an ensign. In 1710, a Thomas Gordon (a son of this Alexander?) was baptized in the British chapel at Moscow.D.
