Peter Bonar (1660-1717) was the son of the Scottish colonel in Swedish service, William Bonar [SSNE 4749] and Elisabeth Bronsart. Peter was himself in the service of Luneberg, in Denmark, as a lieutenant of foot. He belonged to the Presbyterian congregation in Copenhagen.J.C.W. Hirsch and K.
