Born at Montrose, son of John Williamson, Peter Williams was both burgess and councillor of Maribo. He represented Maribo at the meeting at Roskilde October 1653 of the delegates from the towns in Sjaelland, Lolland and Falster. He was dead by 20/10/1657, and buried in the cathedral. He had been married to Maren Nielsdatter.
