New Wellcome-funded PhD programme on Multiple Long-Term Conditions (MLTCs)

This PhD programme on Multiple Long-Term Conditions (MLTCs), led by Professor Frances Mair at the University of Glasgow, will train clinical researchers to tackle one of the most complex challenges in modern healthcare. At St Andrews, Professor Colin McCowan will serve as a Director and lead for the programme, alongside Deputy Director Professor Derek Sloan, with the St Andrews component hosted within the School of Medicine.  The programme will begin advertising across the UK soon, with the first cohort commencing in 2027.
