Watson-Arnott Awards for Research Excellence
Annah McCurry from the School of Psychology and Neuroscience and Justin Lorenzo Biggi from the School of Classics were the 2026 recipients of the Watson-Arnott Award for Research Excellence in the Postgraduate Researcher Achievement category, with Annah winning in the Science and Medicine field and Justin in Arts and Divinity. These awards recognised the valuable contributions these students have made to their research field and the wider research community and culture.
Congratulations too to Alejandra Sophia Lozano Perez (Chemistry) and Clara Défachel (Modern Languages) who were both highly commended.
