The Burn Residential Fieldtrip 25-26

On 18-19 April 2026, students from our MSc Energy Policy and Finance, MLitt in Gender Studies, and MSc Global Sustainable Development programmes took part in a two‑day residential at The Burn in Edzell.

The retreat offered a valuable opportunity to strengthen interdisciplinary connections through academic activities, discussion and shared learning. Students also enjoyed walks, games, and time to explore the surrounding countryside — all helped by the unusually bright and sunny Scottish weather!
