Research in the University
The majority of research at St Andrews takes place within academic schools. However, large research projects can form as Centres or Institutes.
The University is also involved in developing research pooling across Scottish higher education institutions (HEIs). The aim is to develop a radically new research landscape in Scotland with powerful well-resourced research communities.
