Temporary appointments in Philosophy

We are seeking to appoint a temporary lecturer and two temporary teaching fellows in Philosophy.

PhD students accepted for the 2012 Joint Session of the Mind Association and the Aristotelian Society

Two PhD students will be giving papers in the graduate section of the Joint Session conference this summer – these places are highly sought after and there were a record number of submissions this year. Many congratulations to Margot Strohminger, who will present her paper ‘Sider on Arguments from Possibility’, and to Felix Pinkert who will present ‘When I Cannot Make a Difference (and Know It)’

Aaron Cotnoir appointed

It is with great pleasure that the Departments of Philosophy announce that Aaron Cotnoir, currently a post-doctoral research fellow at the Northern Institute of Philosophy at the University of Aberdeen, has been appointed as a new lecturer. He received his doctorate from the University of Connecticut in 2010.
