Carnegie Centenary Professorship

Professor Lloyd Humberstone from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, took up a three-month Carnegie Centenary Professorship at the University of St Andrews within the School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies on 24 March 2012.

Benjamin Sachs appointed as Lecturer in Moral Philosophy

The Departments of Philosophy are delighted to announce the appointment of Benjamin Sachs as a new lecturer in moral philosophy. He received his PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006 and is currently Assistant Professor and Faculty Fellow of Environmental Studies at New York University.

Marcia Baron appointed as Professor of Philosophy

The Departments of Philosophy are delighted to announce the appointment of Marcia Baron as Professor of Philosophy at the University of St Andrews. At present, she is Rudy Professor of Philosophy at Indiana University, Bloomington.
