The University follows the Joint Academic Coding System (JACS) when organising its curriculum. JACS is used by all other higher education organisations including UCAS and HESA. This coding system is currently used to code the academic subjects of all higher education courses and the individual modules within them. The codes listed here represent the academic subject areas available at the University of St Andrews.
