Justin Snedegar
Department of Philosophy
University of St Andrews

I am a senior lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at the University of St Andrews. I am a member of the Advisory Committees for both the Arché Philosophical Research Centre and the Centre for Ethics, Philosophy, and Public Affairs.

I work primarily in ethics and the theory of rationality.

I completed my PhD at the University of Southern California in 2013. Before going to USC, I studied philosophy and mathematics at West Virginia University. And before that, I spent about eighteen years in my hometown, Lewisburg, WV, which is officially the Coolest Small Town in America.

That's a picture of me with my daughter.
