Johan Albert Hamilton may well have been a brother of Henry Albert Hamilton [SSNE 879] although elsewhere this man's name is given as John Christensen Hamilton.
John eventually served as an accountant who in 1630 was appointed to the Danish East India Company and spent several years serving in this role. It may be that while a student in Copenhagen in 1619 John placed his signature in an autograph album belonging to one Joachim Morsius. On 14 August that year John wrote a quote in French, including a text commonly associated with the House of Lennox.
